Cookie Policy

This document explains how 99ok utilizes cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide a functional and secure environment for our users in Malaysia.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. These files allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you do not have to repeat certain steps every time you return. 99ok also uses similar technologies, such as local storage (which saves data on your device longer than a standard cookie) and tracking pixels (invisible images that notify us when a page is viewed).

For a gaming platform, these tools are vital. They ensure that your session remains stable, your security is monitored, and the interface adapts to your specific needs, creating a cohesive journey from the game lobby to the payment screens.

Types of Cookies We Use

We categorize the technologies used on our site based on their purpose. Some are required for the site to operate, while others are used to improve the user experience.

How We Use Cookies

Our use of cookies is focused on operational efficiency and security. Specifically, we employ them for:

Session Management: Maintaining your authenticated state so you don't have to re-enter credentials on every page.
Preference Storage: Remembering your display settings and currency preferences for a smoother interface.
Security and Fraud Prevention: Detecting multi-account abuse and identifying suspicious login patterns to protect your funds.
Usage Analytics: Analyzing traffic flow to optimize the loading speed of our game categories.
Relevance: Tailoring the promotions displayed to match your actual gaming interests.

Third-Party Cookies

Certain cookies are placed by our trusted partners rather than 99ok directly. These include providers for analytics, advertising networks, and specialized payment processing and fraud prevention services. These third parties process data according to their own internal policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy statements of these external providers to understand how they handle your information, as we do not control their individual cookie deployments.

How to Manage or Disable Cookies

You have full control over the cookies stored on your device. Most modern browsers provide easy-to-access settings to block or delete cookies.

Google Chrome: Navigate to Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.

Safari: Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data.

Mozilla Firefox: Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.

Microsoft Edge: Visit Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.

Using "Incognito" or "Private" browsing modes will delete cookies automatically once the window is closed. However, please be aware that blocking essential cookies will result in a loss of core functionality; for instance, the 99ok login link will not be able to keep you signed in, and payment processes may fail.

Important Notice: If you choose to disable all cookies, you will be unable to access your account or perform financial transactions on the platform.

Cookie Consent & Your Choices

Your primary method of managing cookies is through the browser settings described above. Where 99ok presents a cookie notice upon entry, you may interact with it to set your initial preferences. You can revisit these choices at any time by clearing your browser cache and cookies, which will prompt the notice to reappear.

Regarding your data, you may have certain rights to access, correct, or request the deletion of your information where provided by applicable laws in Malaysia. For more detailed information on our legal relationship and your responsibilities, please visit our Terms & Conditions.

Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in technology or legal requirements. We do not provide a fixed update schedule; instead, we encourage you to check the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page regularly to stay informed about how we handle your data.
